Buntis Congress

KASECA is one of the organizer of the 2nd Buntis Congress in Caloocan City last December 4, 2007. It is a join effort of KASECA, Caloocan Health Department and other business sectors. Buntis Congress aims to increase the awareness of all pregnant women on the importance of prenatal, postpartum care and family planning counseling will eventually reduce the incidence of maternal deaths among pregnant women. The general objective of this event is to reduce maternal mortality ratio from 1.79 per 100,000 live to 1.30 per 100,000 population by the year 2010. It was participated by almost 400 pregnant women all over Caloocan City.
